Reduce Your Advertising Costs

Many businesses, especially small ones, rely on advertising to keep customer traffic and sales up. Traditionally, businesses turned to TV, Radio and Print as those were the readily available options. While large businesses used to dominate all three categories, smaller and medium sized businesses were mainly relying on flyers and local newspapers to get their message out there.
In this post we will draw a comparison between flyers, and online marketing. I ran a quick online search to find the prices for flyer printing. It seems like $500 will get you about 3000 colourful flyers. The flyers must be delivered to the potential customer, and there is an extra cost involved in that as well. The main disadvantage with traditional advertising however is the ability to truly choose your target audience. I mean sure, you can choose where you deliver, time of day, special venues, but as we all know almost all of them end up in the trash.
With online marketing you have two main approaches to this problem. Social Media (Facebook) – enables you to choose sex, age, geographical radius, people’s interests and likes, relationship status, etc. You show your ad to the people that are most likely to be interested in it and it’s all Free! That’s right, free, you only pay if the ad peaked someone’s interest enough to click it. Imagine only paying for flyers people actually read. The second approach is advertising through organic and pay per click ads on Google. Google allows you to target people that are looking for you, for your products, for your services. Imagine only paying for flyers that your potential customers are looking for.
Having well targeted advertisements enables you to have higher ROI and more bang for your back. This is why everyone is looking into Online Marketing, and this is why you should as well.
